LegalBooking & Purchase Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026These Booking & Purchase Terms & Conditions apply when you book, access or purchase eligible standalone services, sessions, workshops, events, courses, resources or digital products from Capable Co.
Please read these terms before making a booking or purchase. By completing your booking or purchase, you agree to these terms.
Capable Co. is operated by Lee-Anne Burgess trading as Capable Co., a sole trader based in England.
Email: leeanne@capableco.uk
Throughout these terms, “Capable Co.”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lee-Anne Burgess trading as Capable Co.
These terms should be read alongside the Capable Co. Website Terms & Conditions and Privacy & Cookies Policy, together with any information or additional terms provided for the particular product, service or booking.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
What these terms cover
These terms may apply to:
standalone sessions, workshops, events or business-planning days;
online courses, mini-courses or other learning experiences;
downloadable or digital resources, including guides, workbooks, templates and other digital content;
free resources where these terms, or relevant parts of them, are stated to apply;
other standalone products or services where these terms are specifically referred to at the point of booking, access or purchase.
These terms do not apply to retained, bespoke or project-based Capable Co. client services where a separate Client Agreement & Terms of Business applies.
Where additional or product-specific terms are provided for a particular booking or purchase, those terms should be read alongside these Booking & Purchase Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict, the more specific terms will take priority in relation to that booking or purchase.
Making a booking or purchase
Bookings and purchases may be made through the Capable Co. website or through a third-party booking, course, payment or checkout platform used by Capable Co.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when making a booking or purchase is accurate and complete.
Unless otherwise stated for the particular product or service, your booking or purchase is confirmed once any required payment has been successfully processed and you have received confirmation.
Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible at leeanne@capableco.uk if anything appears incorrect.
Where a free resource or service does not require payment, access or registration will be confirmed in the way explained at the point of signup or booking.
Prices and payment
Prices and any mandatory charges will be displayed or otherwise communicated before you complete a paid booking or purchase.
Payment may be processed using a third-party payment provider. Your payment may therefore also be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
Unless otherwise stated for the particular product or service, payment must be made in full at the time of booking or purchase.
Where a different payment arrangement, instalment plan or payment schedule is offered, the applicable terms will be made clear before you commit to the purchase.
Any prices shown will make clear whether applicable taxes or other mandatory charges are included or payable.
Cancellations, rescheduling and transfers
The cancellation, rescheduling and transfer arrangements that apply may vary depending on the type of session, workshop, event or other bookable service.
Any specific cancellation or rescheduling terms will be made clear at the point of booking or otherwise provided to you before you complete your purchase.
Unless different terms are stated for a particular booking:
bookings are for the specific date, time or service selected;
if you can no longer attend, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible;
any request to transfer or reschedule a booking is subject to availability and is not guaranteed;
missed bookings or cancellations made after any stated cancellation deadline may be treated as used and may not be eligible for a refund or transfer; and
where appropriate, exceptional circumstances may be considered individually, but this does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund, transfer or rescheduling.
Any rights you have under applicable consumer law will continue to apply.
If Capable Co. cancels or reschedules
Occasionally, a session, workshop, event or other bookable service may need to be cancelled or rescheduled because of illness, venue issues, insufficient numbers, circumstances outside our reasonable control or another genuine reason.
If Capable Co. cancels a service and cannot provide what you booked, you will be offered, as appropriate:
a transfer to another suitable date or service; or
a refund of the amount you paid for the cancelled service.
If a service is rescheduled, we will let you know the new arrangements as soon as reasonably possible. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund where appropriate.
Capable Co. is not responsible for separate expenses you may have incurred in connection with attending, such as travel or accommodation, except where the law requires otherwise.
Digital products, resources and courses
Digital products may include downloadable resources, templates, guides, workbooks, recorded content, videos, audio, online courses, mini-courses and other digital content.
Where you purchase digital content and request immediate access, you may be asked to expressly consent to receiving the digital content immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right once supply of the digital content begins.
Once immediate digital access has begun following the required consent and acknowledgement, the purchase will not normally be refundable simply because you change your mind, subject always to your statutory rights.
If the required consent and acknowledgement have not been obtained, any statutory cancellation rights that apply will continue to apply.
If digital content is faulty, not as described or you otherwise have a legal right to a remedy, nothing in these terms removes those rights.
Access to digital content
Any digital product, resource or course you access or purchase is for your own personal or internal business use unless otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, copy, share, distribute, sell, publish or make the content available to another person without our prior written permission, except where expressly permitted by the terms of the particular product.
Login details, course access links, downloads and other access information must not be shared with other people unless the product specifically allows this.
All intellectual property rights in Capable Co. materials remain the property of Lee-Anne Burgess trading as Capable Co., unless otherwise stated.
Wellbeing elements within an offering
Some Capable Co. sessions, workshops, events or resources may include optional wellbeing elements, such as breathwork, relaxation, movement or reflective practices, where these complement the wider purpose of the offering.
Any such practices are intended to support general wellbeing and are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy or emergency care.
You are responsible for deciding whether a practice is appropriate for you, working within your own limits and stopping if you feel unwell, uncomfortable or concerned.
Where relevant, additional participation or safety information may be provided for a particular offering. Please follow any instructions provided and let us know about relevant information where reasonably requested for safe participation.
If you are unsure whether a particular practice is suitable for you, please seek appropriate professional advice before participating.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to sessions, workshops and events
Sometimes reasonable changes may need to be made to a session, workshop, event or other offering, such as changes to the venue, timings, format, content or person delivering it.
Where a significant change affects your booking, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, offer a suitable alternative, transfer or refund in accordance with these terms and your statutory rights.
Behaviour and participation
We aim to provide sessions, workshops and events that are professional, respectful and inclusive.
We may ask someone to leave or stop participating if their behaviour is unsafe, seriously disruptive, discriminatory, threatening or significantly affects the safety, experience or wellbeing of others.
Where someone is asked to leave because of their own serious inappropriate behaviour, a refund will not normally be provided, subject to applicable law.
Photography and recording
Photography or recording may occasionally take place at sessions, workshops or events.
Where Capable Co. intends to photograph or record participants for marketing, promotional or other business purposes, this will be communicated appropriately and consent obtained where required.
You can let us know if you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings where participation is optional.
Participants must respect the privacy of others and must not photograph, record or share identifiable content involving other attendees without appropriate permission.
Intellectual property
All Capable Co. course materials, templates, worksheets, videos, recordings, audio, downloads, written resources, branding and other original materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Booking, purchasing or accessing a Capable Co. offering gives you permission to use the relevant materials for your own personal or internal business use, unless different usage rights are expressly stated for that product or service.
It does not transfer ownership or give you permission to reproduce, distribute, publish, resell, sublicense, teach from or otherwise commercially exploit the materials unless expressly agreed in writing.
All intellectual property rights in Capable Co. materials remain the property of Lee-Anne Burgess trading as Capable Co., unless otherwise stated.
Third-party services
Capable Co. may use third-party services for bookings, payments, email delivery, course or resource access, event delivery or other aspects of providing an offering.
Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers outside our reasonable control, although this does not affect any responsibility we have to you under applicable law.
Events outside reasonable control
There may occasionally be circumstances outside our reasonable control that prevent or materially affect a session, event, product or service.
These could include severe weather, venue closure, transport disruption, illness, emergencies, government restrictions, or failure of essential technology or services.
Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with affected customers.
Your rights to a refund, alternative arrangement or other remedy will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these Booking & Purchase Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or replaces any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
Privacy
Personal information collected when you enquire, book, purchase, access or participate in a Capable Co. product or service will be handled in accordance with the Capable Co. Privacy & Cookies Policy.
This may include contact, booking, purchase and payment-related information and other information reasonably required to provide the relevant product or service.
Where additional information is reasonably required for a particular offering, we will explain what is being requested and why.
Complaints or problems
If something hasn't gone as expected, please contact us in the first instance so we have an opportunity to understand what has happened and, where appropriate, put things right.
