Access to Work support, built around you.
Looking for an Access to Work support worker? Capable Co. provides thoughtful, practical business and administrative support for neurodivergent professionals, self-employed people and business owners, shaped around your individual needs and approved funding arrangements.
Our approach
A practical helping hand,
shaped around you.
Access to Work support should make your workday more manageable, not add another complicated process.
At Capable Co., we take time to understand how you work, where additional support would make a meaningful difference and what has been agreed within your Access to Work award.
Whether you need help staying on top of administration, managing competing priorities or keeping your business organised, we'll explore a practical way of working together that respects your preferences, independence and approved support arrangements.
How working together works
Access to Work can provide funding towards practical support that helps disabled and neurodivergent people manage the demands of their working lives. Where your award includes support worker assistance, Capable Co. may be able to provide that support as an independent provider.
Whether you're self-employed, running a business or working in a professional role, we'll take time to understand your approved arrangements, the hours and activities covered, and how you'd like us to work together.
We know that finding the right person to support you is an important decision. That's why we start with a conversation, agree the practical details clearly and make sure everything is in place before support begins.
Here's what that process looks like.
-
We'll start with a 20-minute Discovery Call to understand your needs, how you prefer to work and whether you already have an Access to Work award.
If you have funding in place, we can discuss the support activities and hours you've been approved for. If you're still exploring your options, we can explain how Capable Co. may be able to help.
-
If we're a good fit, we'll agree the scope of support, availability, fees and practical working arrangements.
For Access to Work-funded support, we'll also clarify what's covered by your award, how invoicing and payments will be handled, and any documentation needed before we begin.
-
Once everything is agreed, we'll put your support arrangements in place.
We'll establish clear communication, practical ways of working and regular check-ins to make sure the support remains useful, manageable and aligned with your agreed arrangements.
Capable Co. is an independent business support provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or the Access to Work scheme. Eligibility, funding decisions and approved support arrangements are determined by the DWP. Services are subject to individual approval and agreed terms.
